ROYAL PET MORTUARY is here to assist you with your choice of either Individual Cremation or Cemetery burial. Following Individual Cremation your pet’s ashes will be delivered to your home at a time of your convenience. As an alternative you may choose to have the ashes respectfully scattered at a Pet Memorial park. In preparation for Cemetery Burial, we provide all essential Mortuary Services as well as transporting your pet on the day of the funeral.

Home Euthanasia
Choosing the time and place to say “Goodbye” may be the most emotional and difficult decision you will ever make for your animal friend. If after consulting with your veterinarian you find that the time is near, we wish to then offer you the option of having your pet euthanized in the familiar calm and security of your own home. A compassionate Mobile Veterinarian is available to administer this humane and painless procedure.
At ROYAL PET MORTUARY we are Advocates For At-Home Euthanasia, and can arrange to make this service available to those who wish to share in this peaceful and moving experience.
Burial vs. Cremation
Cemetery Burial
Cemetery Burial at a Pet Memorial Park can often be costly due to the fact that you are actually purchasing a small parcel of land. However, a significant advantage to consider is that most of california’s Pet Memorial Parks, including two in Los Angeles, are recognized by the State as “sacred ground.” This is your assurance that your pet’s burial site can never be built upon by any land developer. You may visit as often as you wish bringing flowers and holiday decorations to your pet’s final resting place.
Individual Cremation
Private Cremation is inexpensive compared to ground burial. This is only one advantage as you may then choose to bury the ashes in a simple urn in your own garden, or you may wish to display a decorative urn in a special place in your home. Your pet’s ashes will be delivered to you enclosed in an attractive floral canister or any urn you have selected, accompanied by a Certificate of Private Cremation.

Cremation and Interment
Alternatively, you may choose to bury your pet’s ashes at a Pet Memorial Park. In this case the purchase of a small “ash lot” can become an affordable option, especially for clients interring very large pets.
